I remember the Big 3 too. I was a huge Palmer fan but came to respect Jack (who originally lacked charisma but was the better golfer) and Gary (who was a bulldog and made the most of his talent and reminded me of Gene)

They were an awesome group and really helped move golf into the national spotlight.
