Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

She could only be so lucky to be away from Psychedelic for this long. He was bound to approach her eventually. It didn’t helped that she birthed him the most attractive heir. She just didn’t understand how life could get away from her like this. One minute she was living happily with her family and the next they were all ripped apart and scattered. Then her stupid sister had to go and get knocked up when she wasn’t ready. I guess not much different than she was doing now…but there was no way she was abandoning her child. Thranduil may be hard to handle most of the time, but he had her heart. The colt was just as much apart of her as her father was. Rest his soul.

She just desperately wanted that feeling of family that she had growing up. Parents, foals running happily about, friends, allies, you name it. Her happiness was tied to the past that was not coming back. Plus, not being able to properly care of her niece has truly devastated her. That search for family and that heartbreak is what led her here. Into the arms of a potential monster.

Vána raises her eyes to see the pair getting closer. She can feel the movement of her son nearby as she slides into a spot next to her. Suddenly, the unruly sibling to Thranduil rushes out towards them with a clearly mischievous look on his face. Thranduil responds by raising and stomping down his own wet hooves then sticking his pale chest towards his brother. He would give his brother more crap, but the colt soon focuses on the stallion slowing moving in behind his brother. He grows quiet, with wide eyes, as he stands in attention to the old stallion limping their way. It was obvious the boy already held an unhealthy respect for his sire that Vána did not approve of.

Her eyes narrow as Psychedelic speaks. His eyes were so cold mixed with those fresh wounds. The wounds on the stallion were less than attractive, but the ‘oohs’ of her child says otherwise. Thranduil leaps towards Psy excitedly chatting away. ”Where did you get those? Did you beat someone up, dad?” The colt was way too excited for the context of the conversation. ”Shush.” Vána stomps a single hoof to quiet the colt. The last thing she wanted was for her son to anger the cold beast.
