I guess Will Zalatoris's WD on Friday wasn't just to avoid the weather, he had back surgery Saturday and will be unable to play golf the rest of the year.
I had multiple bulging (herniated) disks a few years ago and tried to play on the Myrtle Beach trip and I can tell you it was not fun. My pinched nerves thang was only temporary, a few months. I can't imagine the tork that results from the full swing of a professional golfer with issues worse than what I had.
When those nerves go off, the pain shoots out all over your body like an explosion, blinding white heat I call it, that makes it difficult to take in air. Your hands shoot out in an involuntary fashion. It's like be electrocuted.
And what he has must be worse! I mean, damn! Golfing one day, in surgery the next?
