Re(1): Flooding in So Florida

Reporting from Ft. Lauderdale. The city and surrounding areas have been decimated by flooding. Since there are no foundations with cellars the water just enters the first floor. Tomorrow will mark the 3rd day that FLL airport will be closed. People who drove yesterday did so at their own peril as many had their vehicles flooded. There are many rivers and canals in the city.They were all flooded with major damage to boats and belongings. Today it was sunny in the am and rained in the afternoon to the tune of 3 more inches in 2 hours with no place to put it. Anyone who came to Florida for spring break was in for a very bad experience. Saturday will be the first day since Monday that it has'nt rained. Regards,Steve D.
