The need for success was rising in his belly with every year that passed. This, among many other reasons, is why he drifts into the sea. Tinuvel was many things for him, but only until he could make a true name for himself would he feel ready to rise his claim to father’s throne. On Tinuvel he had the royal name, was even born into the highest royalty one could have on the islands, but he needed to know he could do it on his own. Only experience would bring him the knowledge and strength to rule.

Atlantis was not any island he was familiar with. Nico had no idea where he was as he pulls himself from the sea and shakes the sea water from his calico coat. Never having left his home island has left him naive to the world around him. He only knows some names of the horses not of Tinuvel, but now he plans to learn more about the others natives that frequent these island. Nico steps carefully along the beach of sand (different than Tinuvel’s beaches) until he begins to see the start of lush greenery. The surroundings shock him at first, but he knows every island holds their own dangers so he does not stray too far from the beach.

Nico does not dare go towards the jungle in case something foul hides among the trees. He just stands in the sun with the warmth heating up his back. He is surprised how warm it was this late in winter. A hidden surprise on this island it seems. Another glance around tells the stallion this part of the island was empty. There was a faint smell of a few horses here, but he could not see enough trace of them to tell any tales. What luck would he have to come about a land ready to a new horse to stake their claim? His voice rises to the sky to announce his arrival to the ghosts that may still linger. If no one arrives, well, he would take this place as his own.
