Don't forget to account for a player's ability to read his opponent. Pointing of the feet, position of the body, arm angles and more give a clue to what is going to be thrown and allows a player to get a head start to where the ball will end up. This could shave a second or two off of the time it takes to travel from one point on the court to another.
It might not be possible to read an android though, they probably have the same motion all the time. Who knows, I've never seen an android play jai alai. Replies:
