Thanks guys on your comments. I am one of the fortunate ones to have been able to make it to old age. Our AAA membership is now in continual decline, with the passing of great Aircrew embers. I reflect back to the 1960-70’s, as an Armament Fitter and a Crewman and to the 1980-90’s, when I re-enlisted as a driver (MTD). I have lost many good friends over the years, in many musterings, due to cancer, kidney failure,etc. Such sad losses indeed. For those out there doing it tough, hang in there guys, as there is always someone else that is worse off. Replies:
