You've been schooled.

Wow, Real. You just insult everybody who disagrees with you. You must be very young and powerless to put all that energy in a message board like this one with such overconfidence.

Ever heard the phrase, "When I need your opinion, I'll give it to you!"?

That's you bud. Kansas City's always been isolated in their thinking, out in the middle of nowhere, out of the range of better markets like Denver, St Louis, Minneapolis, even Wichita!

I think it's you who's in the rut, bud. Don't they pay you enough to get out of town once in awhile?

And exactly what do you know about Pandora? I didn't run off at the mouth about it because unlike you, I know what I don't know. I didn't put them down, I just thought, 'hmm' and found a place, namely HERE, to pass on what I learned last week. Exactly where did you go to college where they taught you how to think critically?

Let me put this a different way. Once I compared two graduates. A HS grad and a College grad. Separately I asked both what did they learn in school? The High school grad replied that she knew all she needed to know to get along in life. The college grad replied he learned he didn't know shit. Both of them continued their educations and finished with advanced degrees and went into the professions.

I'm fairly confident the high school graduate would not have made the same statement after college as she did before. We who went to school other than jr college, er JUNIOR college, know what an education IS, and also what it Isn't. Those who didn't go (yet) simply don't know yet what they don't know--but like most uneducated people, they think they already know all there is that's important to know. (Gee I'm starting to sound like Dick Cheney defining what can people know and not know!)

Anyway, this is why thinking individuals that have a little age and experience on them don't make sophomoric comments thinking that modernism is somehow more useful than wisdom. Ya can't learn from your mistakes if you haven't been around long enough to have made them before but after a while you make fewer because life isn't your first rodeo.

To reduce those mistakes, pay attention to those who HAVE been around and learned from them. The're usually outside your demographic!
