Now ya know why I rarely have anything positive to say about broadcast corporations. Reagan made a big mistake padding the FCC with corporatist Republicans who serve corporations rather than the PUBLIC interest.
It was better when broadcast company investors were limited to a half dozen properties. It all happened when the pioneer broadcasters died off and their families sold out to investors.
But at least their role withsd government is different than what we feared. Instead of government taking over broadcasting, broadcasting took over government through their political party. Replies:
