I didn't write that post, bud, but I know who did. He's been stirring up trouble for me and at least one other guy from central Kansas, for a substantial part of his life, probably now pushing twenty years.
He was a radio time buyer down in Wichita and a one man band working out of his basement up in KC; he must have seen me there on TV and got a fixation to make me a target.
If there was actually a system monitor in here, he'd be long gone, but fact is without a little controversy and some infighting about sports reporters, anchorette boobs, or bad corporations, nobody would ever come in here. Most left because their time slots were automated, dont ya think? Or maybe I was right back in the day, and corporate radio doesn't care abt anything but the bottom line and so if ya reach the ceiling of what the CFO says your position's worth, they find a way to get rid of you and hire somebody way cheaper.
Most older people in any occupation have been to that rodeo already.
