PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

The jungle is dark, but full of diamonds;

khar'pern

The shroud of darkness hides her smoke and mirror hides well, allowing the minister of the peaks to glide nearly undetected among the hills and valleys of the lower mountains. Paper thin nostrils flare as the lithe woman inhaled the fresh scents brought to her by the breeze. The scent that she trailed had grown stale, the tawny mountain cat apparently abandoning the high reaches for the lower lands. It was dark to hope that the creature might turn to the lagoon for potential prey, and deep down, she felt the slightest hints of guilt at thinking that. A good leader might have sent a warning but Khar still held a grudge against the bachelor herd for their recent preying upon the Peaks.

The sound of crumbling rocks draws her attention away from the warring emotions within. Raven tipped ears pitch forward amid the wind knotted tumble of her dark mane as her silver gaze cast a roaming glance over the sparsely treed hills below. She might have completely missed the mare were it not for the flash of white on her pelt as she glided over the inclined hills. Curiosity draws a snort from her lungs as she navigates the rocky terrain towards the intruder. A mischievous smirk draws the corners of her ashen lips upward in the beginnings of a smile. ”Most visitors wait until dawn before attempting to navigate the steep slopes of our home…” she begins, coming to a halt a few paces ahead of the damp mare.

From this distance, it is clear that she has just washed ashore but what might have drawn her into the shark infested waters of the ocean at night? Her small muzzle tilts towards the ocean whose crashing waves play like a gentle lullaby in the distance. ”Are you running from or into danger?” she asks, a single brow raised curiously.
