To say Vadim knew what he was doing would be vastly overstated. The young stallion had grown to his full height, and his body was broadening with his hardened muscles, but those physical changes had done nothing to grow him mentally. He was just as lost as he was the first day his father had left the Lagoon behind. Sure, he appeared to have an agenda. Picking fights, making babies, trying to claim the throne by becoming Lagoon Boss; but really, what aim did he really have aside from just lighting fires where he could? Causing chaos, that had been his only motive thus far, and Vadim didn’t think he had done half bad at it. If only he could find a real goal though. Something solid to sink his teeth in. More than just being a thorn in Psychedelic’s side.
Not paying attention to where he was going, only letting his hooves move at random, the young stallion drifted across the island while trying to navigate his thoughts. Sometimes it was easier when he wasn’t idle, but today it wasn’t helping him very much. So when he made it into the Commons, Vadim was easily distracted when his gaze landed upon the tall young lady grazing alone. At first, he debated just ignoring her very existence and trapsing on. But before he knew it, he was standing in front of her; his eyes burning into her with ears pinned against his poll.
“I hope you didn’t plan on staying here long.” he stated; his voice gruff from practice. Moving forward again, he reached out to lay a nip on her shoulder. Mentally, he screamed and balked at the wrongness of it; of all of it. His attitude, the shackles he just placed on her, and the lifestyle she would no doubt hate. Yet somehow, Vadim still continued with the motions as he lowered his head into a snaking position to drive the poor stranger back to the Lagoon.
