Were it not for the fact that Margarita's ego was already fully intact, the speed with which the elegant black stallion approached would have inflated it even more. She shifted at his approach, favoring him with both a smile and her full attention as he began to speak, her delicately curved ears cupped forward intently.

His speech pattern was more flowery than she was used to, but it brought to mind knights and nobles, which, of course, made her think of princesses and rescues. The only thing Margarita might need rescue from was herself, but it was a fun fantasy to tuck away for later. Her smile grew wider and warmer as he trailed off, and she did her best to match his formality, accentuating certain words with a playful flick of her two-toned tail.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Zurok. And I do not mind in the slightest," she unable to lie about how happy she was. "My name is Margarita, and I'm from the Cove, on Tinuvel." She thought about adding her father's name and the title he'd held for so many seasons now, but she refrained. Selfishly, she wanted this stallion to like her for who she was, and not just her father's accomplishments.

Of course, if naming her father as the King of Tinuvel would win her favors later, she most certainly wouldn't hesitate.

She fell quiet again as he went on, and where a meeker mare might blush at such a bold admission of intent, she only drew in a satisfied breath, comforted by this proof of her desirability. Her father had always told her, however, that a gentleman would ask her to accompany them, not tell. That forcing a mare was a warning sign, or a red flag - whatever that meant. His admission had teetered somewhere in the middle, and her resolve faltered slightly, unsure of how to proceed with this hiccup.

"If it is only your intent to offer your home, I see no reason to take offense." She offered warmly, certain that his choice of words had been accidentally obscure. "You are handsome, and seem kind. I can see no reason why I should be upset at your offer, lest you mean to force my hand if I were to change my mind." She laughed then, confident in her assessment of him, despite knowing him for less than two whole minutes.
