This is very sad news. Victor was a great guy and I'm not sure of the title, but he was the last keeper of the American Amateur Jai Alai Association. The same association that was involved in the US Amateur Jai Alai Championships in the 1960's-1980's. Victor was instrumental in keeping amateur jai alai alive at N. Miami when Howie Kalick/Fl. Gaming closed down and he was one of the founders of the American Jai Alai Academy back in 1999.

Victor played backcourt at Dania in the early 1980's. Without looking at an old program I think his uniform # was 86. Victor is mentioned in Wikipedia as the best Pelota de Goma (rubberball) player in the world.

This is a sad loss for the entire jai alai community.
