They may have done it because they realized that even the amateurs who had been practicing on a real cancha with a real pelota before the strike….were not used to playing with a professional level pelota. I’d say that across the board, most if not all amateur programs used pelotas that were slower and more “dead” than the ones used in your typical pro performance. Put those same guys on a cancha with a pro speed pelota and there will be an adjustment period for sure….and lots of missed catches in the beginning. Replies: There have been no replies.
