Driving home from Wichita a Ford Transit van with Georgia plates passed me going over 100 mph. (I had it locked in at 85mph) they were weaving in and out of traffic without signaling.. driving as if they were on a mission for sure and they passed me like I was standing still.. As it passed me I noticed two older men in the front and a bunch of kids in the back. My gut instantly sunk.. of course thinking the worst.. could this be a human trafficking situation? I don’t know but my gut told me to keep the vehicle in my sights and to call Kansas Highway Patrol.. I did and followed the vehicle for over 45 minutes.. not once did the vehicle get intercepted after my call. 😞 I certainly hope whoever was in that vehicle is supposed to be in that vehicle and that those kids are not in any danger. I’m sad that KHP never responded to my call. If you see something say something. Human Trafficking is a HUGE problem in this country. I hope this is something that everyone can pay attention to while on the road! Replies:
