If you recall I talked about how we lucked out when the eye was reforming as it came ashore, the east and southeast sides of the storm broke apart, pulling in only dry air from the shore. Well, anyone living west or northwest of the storm still got hit with 120mph winds and 6-8 inches of rain. Just 15 miles west of me is a little town called Live Oak, they still have 26,000 people without power this morning.
