Never has he even tried to create a family of his own. His heart had begun to wish for it with another season of spring upon the Forest, but he was also content with the family he did have. His mother, aunt, cousin, grandma, and even the herd were amazing. His sire even pops in every now and again.
Dagda has been fine with his life growing up, but the older he got the more he began to think of a bigger purpose. Finding the love his mother had for his father (though complex and estranged) and that special love his aunt shares with Bacardi. It was just magical to watch them. He wanted that for himself one day. Someone to bring home to the Forest and add to their tight-knit group.
This is what brings him to the commons today. The large stallion walks from the beach where he arrived and makes his way across the open grass. He spots a few mares, but none of them were alone. Dagda has no intentions of stealing herdmates or inturpting developing conversations so he continues walking. This was until he spots two horses resting under the tree. The young stallion had his head rested on the mare and Dadga thinks they were possibly related. They looked very similar to each other.
He nickers to the pair as he continues to approach at a non-threatening pace. The very thought of the siblings made his heart swell. Extending his own family with another close sibling pair sounded fun. "Hello," he says once he was close enough. "I hope you dont mind me asking, but are you two siblings?" If only his own relationship with his sister was this way. He missed seeing her, but his closeness with his cousin had created a sibling type of bond between them. |
