Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

Dear Warriors of the Peak,

In the coming years there is a likelihood that my daughter will take over the leadership of the Dunes. Nashira is a good girl but has no experience in defending herself or others. As she is presently my heir, I would like to ask the Peak’s grace to take her in for a year and train her in all manner of useful techniques to protect herself from the dangers of leadership over a herdland. She does have her chosen mate, but only self-sufficiency can truly keep one safest.

I would also like to send a guardian, Sakhmet, who has been the bosom friend of my brother’s Wife, and perhaps her Mother, if my Wife would like to oversee the training.
