Just saw a story on the local Jacksonville news where an 82 year old man was out cutting his grass when he heard his wife inside under duress. A guy had entered their home and was threatening his wife (who had just gotten home from surgery). The guy apparently intended to rob them but he was soon to learn that the 82 year old man that came flying into the house was a Vietnam Veteran, a member of Special Forces.
The 82 year old man beat the guy across the room, through the screen door, down the steps, across the yard and all the way to a nearby road.
When interviewed he said "The guy is probably gonna spend a long time in jail but if he's thinking about revenge you tell him I'll be right here". Replies: There have been no replies.
