She is a beautiful mover, even so young as she is now. She did not take one step that didn’t seem dainty. Her cousin tells her she is named for the way her stripe aims towards one eye on the same side as the constellation her father is also named for. She looks down into the main oasis with some small bit of curiosity - not the kind of learner that Shahin had proven to possess, but for the little existential thoughts many children have in the silence of the universe's newness as their mind expands to fit the wide world into it.
Her mane also bleaches as Shahin’s does, but the redness of that girl was more gold-washed in the pale rings about her eyes and nose and then along her white freckle and streak smeared belly. The rest of her was dark in a way she had not seen in the other uncles - but that mimicked vaguely her father’s sooty blanket.
Her fluffy self shakes and she traces the ends of baby whiskers across the top of the water to disturb the surface idly.
A sound behind her snaps her head up from the main oasis, arabian delicate features combined with the teke long lines make her look especially like a gazelle, though her baby fuzz destroys the illusion fairly immediately. "I will call my dad, come out!" She calls, nerves clear in her voice despite the bravado of her claim. She did know her father would come fair immediately from wherever he was - the fastest creature in the Dunes as he was.
