No, schools are about as non partisan ans possible, I know a lot abt them as a long time education reporter. All boards are non partisan but Republcans whine more and pressure schools on phony issues like whose in bathrooms, sex education, teaching abt propaganda with examples, talking abt Trump, banning books in the library. And the southern states and districts lobby text publishers hard not to trash states who supported slavery.
Schools are VERY susceptible to political pressure on morality issues and Republicans do most of it. Repubs of course push private (christian) schools hard to the damage of public schools and special education which is costly.
Don't be labeling and then trashing ME just because I'm an admitted liberal. Conservatives will starve your children and let your elderly die if they can get a tax break out of it. Liberals pay attention and know that it makes good sense to invest in our children. Racist rich Republicans send their kids to upscale private schools...they are philosophically against public education because they are Libertarians and the only govt they support is a strong military.
BTW, I dropped my flag outside to half staff for the Cali senator who to a very large extent, broke the glass ceiling for women in government.
You won't win points by trashing her in todays political environment. Even tthe Mitch McConnells are talking nice about her and will until her body temperature equals the ground temperature. Replies: There have been no replies.
