Youre right abt McConnell. THe Repubs throw a lot of out of state money into Kentucky, which is how HE kept winning. The campaign now from out of state is to take down Ky's fabulous Democrat gov, wwho is loved by cops and did a good job with the killer tornado a year or two ago. LOtta money being spent. But the big mouths in Ohio and the Carolinas need to go...they're not legislators, they're just propaganda politicians. Jim Jordan's from a heavily gerrymandered district with no cities in it. I'm surprised SCOTUS hasn't made them reform Ohio's Republican trickery.
Words out that Missouris GOP Nutcase is on borrowed time. Is that right? THe way the Republicans are pushing very unpopular reversals of reforms, I'd say 2024's not going to be a good year for the GOP...buts too late since Mitch and Trump colluded and have destroyed a reasonable SCOTUS for decades to come.
So it'll be a long time before they get big corporate money out of politics by reversing Citizens United. That in part is why democracy is at risk. Something catastrophic need to happen to Foxs prime time. Have you noticed they converted WDAF's great black anchor on Fox to becoming a Propagandist? THe "Faulkner Focus"... used to be she just did straight news, but now somebody's producing her show doing what Murdoch wanted. Sad. Shes so talented as an anchor.
