Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

The air is thick and humid. He stands solemn and thoughtful. If life were to go on, then he would do whatever it took to live it to the fullest. Even if it meant death, which it often did, Gael was ready to embark. He had spent too long as a wanderer. A shadow who passed through without a mark left behind–no more, he thought, it’s time to leave behind something.

Of course there were the children. His children were, to say the least, not his central focus. Gael was aware they existed but beyond that, well, he wouldn’t receive any father of the year awards.

When Psych came into view, the black stallion lifted his head. His dark ears twitched, curious and intent on the Lagoon leader. They were like minded. Psych greets him like they’ve been friends since time began and Gael, never one to dismiss, gives over a subtle grin. It’s hard to tell from his dark mouth, he’s a drip of ink in the jungle glome.

Me? Dead? I’m sure some would love the idea,” he said, snorting. There’s a bit of humor in his tone. Gael takes a quick look around them, if anyone had followed the other stallion, they were good as hidden.

I hope we’re still”ーhe slings his head around to bite at a fly on his sideー”on the same page.” Gael shakes his coat, dust flies off in a cloud around him. “We had plans, if you remember, and I very much want to see them come alive.

Gael looks side-long at the spotted stallion, he shrugs. “I hear you have a new Marauder, it’s too bad. I wanted the spot for myself.

A laugh, dry like the dirt under his hooves.
