Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Snapdragon
Mare - Draft Mut - Dunskin Pintaloosa - Frozen Mist

Time sped by. From a newborn to a yearling a horse moved through the Lagoon with her head lowered. Her father was gone and there was no one to play with anymore. Snapdragon was lonely and it was bothering her that the simple need for her to go play with someone could not be met. Her long yearling legs glided over the Lagoon grounds with no real care in the world, but they scuffed every so often to show that she really was bothered. She was unsure of what to do entirely and it had her body leaner than it should be. Her ribby form was showing to her not eating as she should as she slept far too long and far too often.

Shaking out her light colored form, Snapdragon looked about her with the blue of her eyes catching the moonlight rays. Her body was basked in silver and she found herself resting at the beach once the moon was at its highest, staring at where she had once played as a six month old with an older stallion. Times had changed and she had not seen him in a very long time. Letting out a sigh, Snapdragon tried to hide the pain that licked at her eyes with the urge to shed them to the ocean. It was already salty so why not add to it?

Finally, after many hours with the sun working to come up, tears tracked salt lined waved down the fillys face as she stared at the almost moonless sky. She wanted the silver orb to stay there forever, but it left just like everything else. Shaking her head and watching her tears hit the ocean, a slight sob left the horse's throat before she laid upon the ocean's banks. She missed her family and her friend, but none seemed to be around. Her mind ran of the old days and her eyes shoved themselves shut against the tears that wanted to flow steadily down her petite face.

Snapdragon wanted a friend… but there was no one to play with anymore.
