NCAA Basketball and NBA (and a little bit of WNBA) have playoffs that last for-fucking-EVER, and the only reasons they get so much air-time is because (1) there's nothing else on at that time of the sports season, and (2) the networks would still air ALL of that basketball playoff bullshit, even if ratings got down to 0.1, lest they be accused of being racist.
Basketball playoffs? Maybe a little bit of the NCAA as long as KU is still contending, but - - The rest of that shit? No, thanks. I'd rather watch fifty-year-old re-runs of "Gilligan's Island," on ROKU. Replies: There have been no replies.
