For you, my little lamb.

New, this land was all new. A large behemoth of a horse moved over the land with hooves thumping through the sand. Bright amber eyes flickered faintly as the sun cast rays down upon the beach, but the horse did not care as their forelock flicked against their face. A short tail flicked behind him, showing strands had been cut before his arrival onto the lands of these islands. He had beached about a month ago now, but he had not traveled far from where he hid in the edge of a territory. His body healed in the shade of a ridge and now he worked on paving his way over the sand. There was the scent of a stallion and herd here, but the stallion did not wish to take anyone. It was fall, the worst time of year for horses, but he would survive the urge to procreate. For now, the stallion was looking for a home and maybe someone he could stick with for a long time.

Huffing out a breath, the behemoth named Lionheart looked around him. He was strong mentally, but his body was still weak. There was a twist with each step in one of his hind legs. He had hurt his hip on the way over and he knew the faint limp would never go away, but he would grow to be used to it. Horses were resilient that way and he planned on never going back to where he had come from. The stallion was not meant to be caged for use in the forests pulling logs. It was an old tradition that had left scars upon his body where a harness had rubbed him down to almost muscle before the humans found him that tried to save his small group. Sadly, Lionheart lost his best friend, mother, and someone he loved with his whole heart. Now, he was alone and silently hoping that he could find someone else to care for and love.

Shaking out his body, Lionheart stopped moving forward when a particular step sent his back leg bending just right and shooting a pain up his hip. Hissing out a breath, Lionheart looked back at himself before straight ahead. Here, right here he would rest until he could continue forward more. Hopefully if anyone found him, they would not laugh at his predicament. His body ached and he was doing the best he could with minimal stable ground.
