The problem as I see it is the med vans waiting for us to bring the pt down 4 flights of stairs and calling us back to bring them up when they (a private company) is charging the pts insurance.Same with nursing homes. Private business doesn't want to pay for the insurance for lift assists etc. They just want to make money off our backs.
