When the darkness comes….

Siren watched them, their pace slow and at one point the mare had seen scared enough to quit moving. Siren knew she was a large mare, but there was no anger or the need to hurt these horses in her blood. They lived here in paradise and she would not make them leave if they wanted to stay. All she wanted right now was to speak with the colt if not touch him with her nose to see how gentle and soft his fur would be. She knew fall was here and she was to have a foal come spring, but she so badly wanted to have a foal now to care for in this home she claimed as her own.

Perking an ear forward, the mare listened as the other horse named Eeva spoke their names. Her eyes flicked over both of them before she nodded at the question that came from Eeva’s mouth. “I have come to Atlantis and Paradise to create a home for myself and others.” Siren might want to rule a home so it could be her way for a family, but she knew not everyone would bend to her will and she would not force it upon a mare and her younger brother. They would get to make their own decisions on if they wished to stay for now.

“I know it was lead by another stallion, but I have not seen him.” Siren did claim this place from him, but she would not make the other horse that once lead this land leave his home if he was willing to work with her in a way. “I know it's starting to have another creature take over, but I do hope that I don't make you guys wish to leave your home.” Siren did not know if she was hoping to keep them for her own gain or if it was the feeling of loss in her chest that wanted to keep these young horses here with her.
