Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Ghosts whisper in my ears.

Silence stretched on like a smooth blanket on Nahawi’s skin. His eyes blinked faintly as he moved to shut out the thoughts that colored his mind with the need to almost go and search for his brother. Nahawi was young and coming into himself, but the good hearted and soft souled stallion would not always be welcome here, or at least he thought. He was not as rough and tumble as the rest of the horses here and he was not entirely sure if that would ever change. He would do his best to stay on his path, but there was always that feeling in his gut that he could very easily lose himself to the confines of the lagoon and the inhabitants alike. From what he had already heard, this place was not a brotherhood really… it was more of a home for wayward stallions that never wanted to better themselves.

Perking his ears, Nahawi was fully pulled from his thoughts when his name was called and a black stallion came out from the depths of their home. Blinking his blue eyes, Nahawi eyed this black as night horse for a moment before he faintly gave a dip of his head. “It is nice to meet you officially as well Kheldar.” Nahawi had never seen this horse before, but that was something that could not be changed. Nahawi would have to guess that Psychedelic let this stallion and another join before he fled the lagoon like a lost dog searching for only the lord knew. If the boss could run away like that, what was stopping everyone else from doing the same in all honesty?

Thinking over the main question that Kheldar sent his way, Nahawi licked his lips before giving a faint shrug. “As well as a stallion that lost his family and friend could be.” Nahawi pinned his ears after his words, his tail lashing at the air behind him. The night sky bared with the silver glow of the moon had this red dun looking dark with a red sheen upon his back. His long mane with hits missing strand by his withers was coated in mud and knots, showing that he had been in this place longer than he would care to admit. Shaking his head though, Nahawi returned his focus back to Kheldar with his ears swiveling upon his head for a moment.

“You do not have to leave unless you wish Kheldar. No one is expected to stay in my company unless they wish.” Again the stallion stuck to himself. No one else would be forced to deal with him as he was currently. Lost, alone, and begging to keep a certain duo of mares safe… if only he knew what would be coming in the future.
