Re(2): Top 40's gone

You have taken a lot of abuse in this room, not nearly as much as I have but I don't let it bother me and having been a newsman, usually in the business of publicly saying what's wrong with the world...when its turned my way, it doesn't raise my blood pressure.

When it starts to which is rare after a career of answering the phone in the newsroom, I remind myself there are no COnstitutional provisions to protect us from criticism, whether well intended or not. You took my long held view about hip hop rhyme as being unmusical personally.

I might suggest social media isn't for you! This room isn't anymore offensive than any political site which I visit daily. There are many people much more critical of the world than me. I call them Magats. But think of me as the same age and temperament as Charles Gueswelle, who wrote for years at the Star. Like me, he was paid to say what was on his mind. I can imagine the letters his editors got about him over the decades. grin
