Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Ghosts whisper in my ears.

The red dun stood there, shock evident upon his face as he looked at these two horses seem to throw jabbing words at one another. Nahawi was confused to say the least, but when the words of his brother penetrated his ears Nahawi pinned the appendages against his neck and mane, shooting a glare at the young stallion named Isengrim. His blue eyes lashed out with a faint fire, but he would never truly act upon the need to bite at this other stallion. Nahawi was too kind of a heart to ever hurt someone and if he ever did, he would regret it for his whole life.

As Isengrim walked away, he turned to Isla and gave her a faint dip of his head. “I am sorry you feel that way. I hope you stay safe here in the Lagoon.” He rumbled before turning around and stalking after Isengrim. His large hooves thumped on the ground in a steady rhythm as he pulled himself up to walk side by side with Isengrim. He waited a while to speak, but as the day wore on he finally let out a sigh and opened his lips to speak to his lagoon brother.

“Sometimes Isengrim, I find myself wishing to diffuse a situation. I care about you and everyone in this Lagoon. You had your own, yes. However, what's the point in staying mad?” Nahawi wasn't sure if those were the right words to say, but he tilted his head anyways at this younger stallion. “We got a lot of life to live. Why not enjoy it as much as possible without arguing with those forced here against their will?”
