When the darkness comes….

Winters touch drug against the earth with a vice grip. The cold had shot through the land with no care for those that it would bother. It's ice like chill seeped through longer gray fur as a horse of a large stature moved through Paradise with their head hanging faintly. Muscles quivered under their fur, but their mind paid no attention to the shivering that coursed through their blood. Winter was being harsh at the moment and it had the beast not even noticing that there was something off in the distance and she was heading right towards it.

Pulling in a lungful of air, Siren blinked her bright eyes that were now beginning to flame in a sense. Anger coursed through her blood for once more there was a horse in her territory that was not close enough to Sarira to be in the sanctuary. Shaking her head, the large mammoth of a horse prowled closer to the creature that had infiltrated her home. Her muscles flexed with every step her large hooves took, leaving sizable indents in the ground.

Pushing through the soft flurries of snow, Siren crested a little hill until her body was standing close enough to this new golden stallion that she could see him clearly. With where her body was standing, loose tendrils of her mane slowly waved in the wind, almost begging to be in a picture as her ears perked faintly to listen as well and watch. She would not be stepping closer this time around with the new horse. She had done that once already and with winter here already, her body was growing rounder and rounder by the day.

Huffing a breath, the soft cloud of air that looked like a thin veil padded over her head as her ears perked fully forward. She knew she should be getting closer to this stallion of bright coloring, threatening to pound him into the ground and make him a pancake. Yet, there was something about him that had her just standing there like a sentinel over her territory. With how still she was standing, one could mix her up with a gargoyle if they really wished to.

Letting her voice rise over the distance though, Siren spoke to this new creature after many painful slow minutes. “Greetings wanderer. Why have you entered Paradise?” She was trying a new approach, but already the bile on her tongue let her know this would never be done again. Swinging first and asking questions later was an easier way for her to handle things.
