He has happy with what he had, but he couldn't help wondering if Olya would shown up to join him. It has been some time since he last came across the mare on the main island and their conversation had been brief. He had hoped to be alluring enough to make her curious. Maybe the key was to stay longer and get to know the mares better before they decided to join his side.

Nico decides to test this theory as he swims the long way southwest towards the commons. The calico stallion had been this way before, but he has never stopped to actually talk to anyone. It became clear he would not gain any new herd members standing idily around. His sister had done a lot of that and he sees how small her herd had become. Sure, the few ahe had loved her, but Nico was looking towards the bigger picture. He wanted more success.

The stallion completes the long journey to the common beach and begins to shake himself dry. His legs burn from the activity, but all the new smells filling his nose give him new excitement. Nico can feel a rush of blood pumping his veins as he forces his body forward with a strong gust of wind aiding him in this task. Soon, the burning quits as he advances deeper into the commons to escape the blowing sand. The sea was a certain smell to it that he was used to, but he did not like when the wind got too strong.

Sand in the eyes was a mood killer and he wasn't about to start off this way. The stallion's hair whips around him as he heads towards the grass. This is when a hunched over figure comes into view. Partially blocked by his wild hair. "What're ya lookin' at?" He was taken aback by the attitude. "Uh, my hair mostly." He says softly, but she responses with another snappy remark. To which he had to say something a little witty back. "Perhaps you're right. Maybe you don't have anything to offer me, but then again maybe you do? Without properly meeting me how will you know?"

Nico was becoming increasingly curious as to why she greet strangers this way. Especially being in the commons. "Are you in distress?" Okay, maybe not the best question to ask her. The mare was already agitated so it was doubtful she would just give him more information.
