Department Memo coming out to assist certain individuals with correct English pronunciations. Training will consist of "Introduction to the Webster's Dictionary Pronunciation Key (Located next to a word in parenthesis) and will be concentrated on key CFD words and phrases: Ambulance (not pronounced: am ba lance), Fuel (not pronounced: Fr-uel/no "r" in fuel) Documented: (not pronounced: dak-a-mented/ yes, we do have the letter "u" in English language). Upon successful completion, the student will be able to say the following phrases successfully: "Can you send us an ambulance? / "By permission of Battalion x, we're going for fuel at xxx location" / "We're returning with a documented refusal". The bonus phrase is "Hold the ambulance, we have a documented refusal, and we're going for fuel with the permission of the xxx Battalion". Replies:
