Voyager did his best to stay mellow when the sound of hooves entered his ears. He had never had to go against someone for a mare and he honestly wouldn't start now. His large black ears flicked ever so slowly as he turned his head to set his amber eyes upon that of a large stallion. This new horse was larger than him by almost a full hand and it had Voyager questioning many things. If this other horse wanted the mare, he would step back and allow her to decide based on her thoughts.
Turning to the mare as she spoke, Voyager gave a faint dip of his head. She hadn't spoke her name and he was about to ask when the stallion beside them spoke, his voice seeming to hold knowledge. The black horse turned to eye that of the stallion once more, amber eyes scanning over the large equine. It was odd, having this conversation but if it eased minds that needed to know, Voyager would speak. Giving a faint bow of his body, he stuck one leg out and bent down on the other, his head tucked to his chest. “I strive to treat everyone as they deserve. No one deserves to be failed by the one that wishes to have them.” His voice was kind and he slowly stood up to face them again. “I live in the forest under Bacardi. I am a sub-lead with my own territory to protect. Anyone that joins me is given the home that they wish within that, stallions and mares alike.”
He had spoken a lot then, but he turned his head to that of the lagoon stallion. “If you ever wish for a home yourself sir, my small territory under Bacardi is open to anyone that wishes to be unharmed and not cause harm.” Flicking his tail, the black stallion let out a breath. “May… May I get both of your names?” He didn't wish to be rude, but he wanted to remember their faces with their names if they both decided that he wasn't good enough for them.
