She does not have reason to hide from the large woman who calls her to come. It’s a bellow, not a typical sized horse nicker or neigh. Her curled ears reverse into something akin to horns. Her eyes fixing on her target as she makes it across the jungle and into the presence of its new master.
She is smaller, by far, and yet she shows no signs of fear or antagonism. Yes, her lover was the one-time owner… but he was young and this creature has not seen to it to drive him from his homeland -- what did she have to hate or fear from her?
"I am Sarira, Priestess of Paradise’s Sanctuary. You are the new Queen, called sometimes Siren." At least if her ears and means of surveillance had not been too flimsy to give her correct information. It was very possible. She notably does not rescind her status as Priestess or her claim over the sanctuary, prepared to fight for it if the matter was to be treated as debatable by the new master of the land. "Have you found yourself injured or in need of respite? I know of a grove nearby that might serve one of your size for the latter treatment of the soul, if it would suit you."
Perhaps it was risky for one so much smaller and leaner and younger to speak so blatantly or to be so self-righteous in her claim of the very land this mare had won herself, but Sarira could be none other than what she was. She was the shepherdess of the flock that gathered for rest and respite within the reaches of her Sanctuary. "The fruit is exotic, but sweet and full of refreshment. Patrol and defense must be wearying at best and daunting at worst." Well, at least she proves she never would intend to usurp Siren’s rule, that little statement acknowledging the hardships Siren’s rulership might cause.
