I find it hard to believe that college football isn't heading for a disaster. Not only with the college transfer portal thang but with the NIL thang. Alabama is already boasting that they intend to have the largest NIL fund in the country. Where can that lead? Offering 25 million to a high school kid? What about the 80%+ of schools that can't match those numbers?

Saw this little tidbit just now:

"Alabama didn't even wait 24 hours after its loss to Michigan to start thinking about its future. Immediately following the Crimson Tide's 27-20 loss to the Wolverines, YEA Alabama, the Name, Image and Likeness entity for the University of Alabama, asked its fans to donate to their NIL fund."
