Great observation, there is literally zero young blood in any mutuel and it is provided only for the gambling. I don't know of anyone who goes to a track and stays more than 5 races tops or bets while partaking in other activities like the casino. We have far less tracks today than 30 years ago, of course. Being your age I am shocked that the environment and energy isn't a factor in what you'd choose to attend.. for myself, working in d1 sports, the nba and formerly jai alai my angle is never about myself.. as I try to upgrade to a Director of Game day operations position, I know it's all about others and especially those with the money 27 to 55 and how to make the event appealing to them all.

The NBA currently has top notch fan engagement and their crowds are both very large and even more so, very engaged and spending.
