Good bye. she snorts that should take care of him. she thinks to herself as she prepares to take her next step. Now, that she had taken care of that vexing behemoth, the whole island was hers to explore. But her plans are dashed when the shuffle of his hooves through the thin snow and whisps of grass signal he was not done with her - damn.
The voice that follows her is deep and rich - and a bit sinister - "You might claim to be the queen darling, but you are nothing more than a stain upon this land." A stain? Who did he think he was talking to? An annoyed look contorts her face as she draws her head higher on her shoulders and her ears pin tightly to the arch of her nape. "Excuse me?" she spits between gritted teeth, "I am no stain!" she squeals in protest.
To make matters EVEN worse, he has drawn himself closer to her and now stands menacingly over her.
“Now tell me my sweet little lioness, what is your true name and the place you actually originate?” his words drip from his whiskered lips as he does his best to try to intimidate her... but it ONLY pisses her off even more.
Sweet! Little! She raises her head even higher as she looks the onyx beast in the face and her eyes narrow as she meets his gaze. "It is NONE of your damn business," she growls "if I wanted to tell you ... don't you think I would have?" she asks with a snort and a defiant tilt of her chin.
Who did he think he was? Making demands as if were the owner of this island... as if he were the gods right hand man?
And clearly. He WAS NEITHER.
