Ex nihilo nihil fit.

NOTHING COMES FROM NOTHING.

Standing there with her son tucked tight to her side now, Asphara waited for Tyr. Her slender red ears flicked forward before a gentle nicke left her lips as the stallion she called came into view. She was not surprised by his greeting or the second sentence that came from his lips, her head tilting faintly as she eyed the mammoth of a leader. He was in his prime which should of made him eye candy to the chestnut mare. Yet, all she saw was a strong stallion that would continue to give her safety in his home considering how he had handled Siren’s Symphony.

“I do not need anything today Tyr.” Came her soft voice, her tail flicking behind her as she nudged the strong colt to the front of her gently. It wa easy enough to see that she was much better with this foal than the last, but it was also palpable that she was not a great mother figure just yet. She was learning of course, but that would take time after time of having foals and with how she would come to watch her body over the year, she might not have another for the next coming year.

Licking her lips, Asphara faintly dipped her head and eyed Tyr’s hooves, not able to meet his own gaze for an odd feeling in her gut. “I just wished for you to meet your son. I am thankful that you are proud of what I have birthed for the Ridge.” Asphara said that gently, but deep down she knew she would never be leaving this home. She might be a wraith in the ridge, but there was something in her eyes that had her raising them to meet Tyr. “And I was hoping… once Typhoon is old enough if I could work the boarders?” There it was… a mare seeking a purpose.
