As the gentle breeze slowly shuffles the grass around his legs, Nahawi stands at ease. If he was any other stallion or any other territory, it would be easier. However, Nahawi was the Boss of the Lagoon and had been setting mares free. In this moment in time, he had the urge to go snag one for himself and go against everything he had been against to start with. It did not matter than he wanted a companion and not a trinket. It did not matter that he would go about this and give her the option to decide what she wanted. All that mattered was that in this moment in time, Nahawi was a hypocritical wretch and it made his stomach drop as those thoughts finally entered his mind and made him want to back pedal and leave this lovely Aase here to find her own way home.

Flicking his ears from where they had dropped at his inner monologue to what she was saying, Nahawi gave a faint chuckle and looked at the meadow that they were indeed standing in. “Yes. It is easy to get twisted around on travels around here with all the scents floating in the air.” Nahawi was still kind, as always he would be. His gaze slowly glanced over her frame to make sure there were no injuries upon her body before he quickly looked away once more, his cheeks faintly heating under his red fur. If it was not for the color of him, the red dun would always look like a twitterpated two year old.

“My name?” Her quick change of subject had Nahawi startled, his body shifting uneasily as he actually had to think back to what his mother had said a long time ago about his name. Scrunching his brows, Nahawi looked like an overly questioned child before he grinned again, his body once more growing relaxed. “It means heal or heals depending on how it is used.” Nahawi’s name was honestly fitting. He was trying to heal the Lagoon and he would be willing to heal anyone that came to him asking for help. “What about you though Aase? I have never heard a name like that myself.”
