PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW AN ENEMY
could ever look this good
A call from down the mountain caught Marceline's attention just as she was beginning to settle in for the evening. The sun was crawling towards the horizon, the sky above just beginning to turn shades of inky blue, when she heard it ring out. There was no mistaking the call of a child in distress, and for as tired as Marceline was, she could not ignore such a thing. Hauling herself to her feet from where she was tucked against the mountainside, Marceline began making her way towards the source of the call.

It was difficult to move when she was swollen so terribly, and when the child inside her womb refused to stop kicking at her ribs. Marceline grunted in discomfort as she made her way down the mountain towards the source of the call, carefully placing her hooves so as not to tip over and tumble down the mountain. Goodness forbid any of her sisters have to witness her rolling her way down the Peak like an overinflated beach ball.

At last she reached the source of the noise - it was... oh, what was her name again? Marceline was sure she'd seen the girl around before, perhaps even caught her name at one point. Yet as she stood staring down at the filly there was no recollection of such an interaction in her mind, and so she called out, "Mon chéri, are you alright? Have you gone and got yourself stuck?" There was no reprimand in her voice, only mild teasing and amusement, laced with just the faintest hint of concern. Marceline may not have been the world's greatest mother figure, but seeing a child in potential danger was not something she was about to overlook.
