Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

A deep breath rocked through the stallions throat and down through his chest. His heart beat so hard and fast in his ears that he swore he could see red. Panic was slowly unfurling like a long wilted flower in his chest that had just been given water, but what for? Nahawi's blue eyes locked on the draft brother and he stood there in silence for a moment and actually thought in that dreaded silence that followed Garmr’s words. His brother was right, but for all the wrong reasons.

Shifting his stance, Nahawi stepped back from Garmr and raised his head high with his ears faintly perking forward. “You wish for me to be replaced Garmr, just like over half the lagoon. At this point I'm surprised you guys haven't started to mutiny.” At this point, Nahawi was done. Rehoboam might want to follow a stallion of change and might have guided him to Tyr, but Nahawi had enough. His long tail dropped behind him as he gave away the last piece of his pride in this moment with Garmr. Nahawi was officially done. He caved, but he wouldn't show it as he pulled himself together.

It also wasn't that Nahawi forgot about his brothers in the Peak, it was that he didn't know. The only stallion he knew there was Beloved and he wasn't about to go to the peak to learn of the other brothers snagged from the Lagoon. Nahawi had this current place to worry about, not others. Shaking his head, Nahawi just sighed and turned away from Garmr. “Do as you please Garmr. Just know karma will be knocking on your door.” With those final words, Nahawi just walked away and back into the Lagoon where he stood on the edge facing the direction of the Fall’s, not sure if he should go seek out someone or stay here where the brothers wanted his blood but were never around.
