As Chuck approaches his 70th birthday, tomorrow, another 70 year old is in trouble. Sports Illustrated. The iconic magazine of our youth and beyond was first published in August 1954. Yesterday the majority of its staff was laid off. See the story in the attached link.
Personally, I figured that SI was in trouble when they had 82 year-old Martha Stewart as one of the covers on the Swimsuit edition last year.
