VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

Spring was coming to a close and it had the dunksin pintaloosa named Snapdragon basking in the beginning rays of summer sun. Her blue eyes were closed as she raised her head to almost stare at the sun, its warmth coursing through her thin coat. She had shed her winter fluff well over her season here in Paradise and she held some dappling to show she was at a good weight and healthy all around. Her mane was silky and taken care of as best as she could manage and somehow with grooming from a friend of hers, Snapdragon looked regal but soft. She was growing to learn how to be both, but already her body held the strength she needed mentally.

Humming out a breath as a bird flew overhead, Snapdragon sat perfectly still before the little thing landed upon her back and seemed to pick at her. She knew it was a good thing for birds to get the parasites like ticks and stuff off of her body, but at times they were very annoying. Allowing herself to stay still though other than her breath, Snapdragon spent a good few hours under the sun just dreaming in a way before she shook out her frame to spook off the bird and opened her eyes. Her gaze was soft and with a note of a happy gleam in its depths as she turned to face her home.

Turning from the surf, Snapdragon lazily walked up the beach a ways and let her head lower to nibble on the vegetation that she could nip at here in the sun. She was not ready to leave the warmth of the sun so as time slowly passed by this longer spring day, Snapdragon lazily moved over the beach and ate what she could grab.
