Moonlight glinted off of the waves, weaker now than it would be in a few hours when the clouds would clear. She had not been certain that she would arrive in time, but she was hopeful now. All she needed to do was slip a little further into Paradise and try to remember the path her papa had shown her so many years ago and then she would have her prize.

Of course, things were never quite as easy as they ought to be in her life.

"¿No puede una chica tomar un descanso?Can't a girl catch a break?" It was obvious she was too late the second she found the patch of little white flowers. Annoyance flared in the loudly marked woman and she huffed a discontented sigh before striking the ground with her hoof. It made little difference in the already furrowed ground, pockmarked as it was by other sets of prints and travel. "Of course they've eaten it, the idiotslos idiotas!" She lowered her head and nosed at the half-eaten stems as if they alone might tell her who or what had consumed an entire flower patch worth of hallucinogenic flowers. Whomever (or whatever) it was, they had done a thorough job, leaving no leaf unturned or petal unharmed and fairly recently, too, if the still-wet sap were any indication. "Ayyyyy, fóllamefuck me." she grumbled under her breath, her pale lips pressing into an angry snarl as she turned away from the massacre.

"Oi!Hey! You!" She shouted to the first creature she found, her inwardly curving ears flattening back to her velvety black poll. "Who ate the flowers?" She moved forward, undaunted, and shoved her muzzle close to their own, trying to see if she could scent evidence on their mouth. "Was it you?" If it was, they likely only had a short amount of time before the plant began working its way through their system, and heaven only knew how their bodies would react to the mildly hallucinogenic plant.
