Octavius
stallion | 18.0hhs | silver sooty bay dun tobiano | of the lost island wilds

Roaring winds and white capped waves rolled over a vast blue sea. Birds flew against the powerful gusts, but many were forced along the currents and in a direction that had not originally been headed. The sight of the ocean and its powerful misery had a salt water clad stallion shaking out his pelt as he slowly turned to gaze at his half sister. They were the same age, born only weeks apart. Their sire had chosen their mothers for that year of birth, but after that their father had vanished. Neither of the drafts knew what had happened to their father, but they had watched a horrible blizzard take away their mother’s last year and now they themselves were in a different place surrounded by an ocean storm.

Shaking his head, a large silver sooty bay dun tobiano blinked his grey hued eyes and scanned the area around them. They were lost, the ocean having brought them to these islands of its own accord. They were curious, but with such a rough start to their time here the duo sighed slightly together in that moment. Both were looking into the depths of the ocean, but the stallion himself seemed to be the most curious of it as he slowly began to walk over the island and softly nudged his sister to have her go with him.

Striding over the ground, the stallion named Octavius huffed a breath and then a cough. The ocean had been rough on his body and with what felt like summer here, he knew he would not have to worry as much about pneumonia. It was his only saving grace right now, but he flicked an ear back to his sibling and heard her give the same watery cough. He did not like that sound coming from her, but he did not budge and go to her as their bodies finally entered a place that smelt like horses galore. Neither sibling knew where they were, but Octavius stood beside his sister with his head raised, scanning a place that he heard from a whispering pair of other horses named the Commons.
