Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

what's a king
to a god?

Garmr,

Perhaps you do not know of Cullen and his crimes, and perhaps you do. Either way, it was not your place to offer a trade and you overstepped. The best place for Cullen is wherever he will do the least amount of harm, not here. If the Peak wants to look at him and crow over their victory - let them. It keeps them from taking issue with you and your brothers' perpetually sticky fingers.

Brothers,

You, Garmr included, are not wrong that our other brothers should be returned, but it is worth noting that most of them have gone sullen and silent since departing the Lagoon. They are not damsels in distress. They are Lagoon men, and sometimes we must face down adversity and rise from it. If they are unwilling to do their part and make themselves available for rescue, I will not waste my breath mourning their loss.

Might I also remind all of you that raids and challenges are not the only way we can bolster our numbers. There are twelve different herds and three separate common areas we can recruit from. Willing members will do us far more good than prisoners.

If you opt for me as your General, I promise to ensure that our challenges are issued with purpose and meaning.

You all elected Nahawi for a reason. Give him a chance to keep proving himself.

Garmr seems motivated, and while I don't entirely trust his decision-making, he does seem eager to bolster the Lagoon. For now, I would lean toward him as our Marauder.
