Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Nahawi
stallion | 16.2hhs | red dun | Emperor of the Shore

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

Flicking his ears around his head and listening to the calling of birds, Nahawi watched the distance. His hooves were right on the border of his old home, but there was no real want to cross over into that place. His blue eyes held a strength to them now that had not been there before and it made the red dun seem stronger. His heart might be racing and anxiety might be coursing through him, but the stallion held his body as he should have always done.

Watching as the body of Rehoboam came his way at a trot, Nahawi hid his smile as he set his gaze steadily upon the stallion coming his way. His long tail slowly flicked at his hocks and his ears perked forward as Rehoboam spoke, but his anxiety slowly lessened on his body as he stood tall and strong. Nahawi’s head was up, regal, and his body was shinier than it had ever been. Rehoboam’s words deserved an answer right away, but he took in a deep breath before he even thought to let his voice color the air.

“Rehoboam, I have come to let you know of the changes coming.” Nahawi tilted his head faintly, his words slowly entering the air as if he was unsure of how to speak with this stallion now. “I have been far to close to the edge of falling into the darkness and I wont let that happen anymore.” Flicking his tail, the stallion shifted a moment and let his hooves dig a bit deeper into the soft ground of the edge of the Lagoon. He had a lot more to say, but he took a moment to formulate a sentence that would actually make sense to the strong horse before him.

“I have taken over the Shore. The lead there had not been active and I am not willing to let my daughter forget me.” Nahawi started off there, but his eye grew a faint gleam as he scanned rehoboam’s painted body. “I have come to ask and see if you would be willing to be my sub-lead Rehoboam? The Shore deserves you far more than that of this place. I know I should stay here, but I cant allow myself to fall into a stallion that I am not.” Nahawi was finally sticking to what he was as a horse and that involved a change that would make things a bit more difficult here in this place, but he couldn’t let that stop him anymore.
